What do I need to do to make a success of this assignment? |
Task 1: How to use Hootsuite Certification (Only Screenshots) Complete the How to use Hootsuite Certification via Hootsuite's Student Program. This is a multiple-choice online test provided by Hootsuite academy, that is part of your Hootsuite Social Media Management Tool. The test can be taken as many times as is required to achieve the best pass. Thus, you must take and pass the How to use Hootsuite Certification exam. Publish the certification on LinkedIn and other social media to enhance a digital presence for your Social Media Campaign (Please see Tasks 2 and 3). Note: You do not need to pay for training and test. Please contact your tutor for further information Task 2: LinkedIn profile AND other two appropriate social media platforms (Screenshots- equivalent to 300 words) Building upon the first part of the assignment (Task 1), develop a social media campaign on LinkedIn AND other two (2) appropriate social media platforms to recognise the importance of an established and effective online presence. Thus, you need to create a LinkedIn profile plus two (2) more social media platforms (Any two (2) most appropriate related to your campaign) depending on the nature of your campaign and: a. Complete the summary section reflecting on your achievements and aspirations for your career (or alternative equivalent) goals. b. Include your Hootsuite Certified Professional qualification in the Certificates section. c. Complete at least two further LinkedIn sections. The campaign storyline: You are encouraged to use a consistent storyline for your campaign. You are free to choose ONE of the following: - Influencer: You can be an influencer to promote a certain event/thing/product without promoting the business directly. - Personal Branding: you may want to promote yourself on social media as a brand and target potential employers. - Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Your posts and the campaign could be related to one or some SDGs. - Any other link to a business or charity of your choice without promoting the business directly. Task 3: Social Media Content Calendar (Screenshots) One (1) Social Media Content Calendar must be completed for ONE week of the campaign for three (3) social media channels involved. An excel spreadsheet template will be provided for you to use which you can download from Blackboard, or you can use any other suitable template of your choice. Once finalised, please take screenshots of your Social Media Content Calendar, and insert them into the report. After accomplishment of task 3, you are required to critically evaluate and audit your social media presence using current tools and techniques (approx. 300 words) Task 4: Critical discussions from an individual or organisation perspective (Approx. 600 words) Based on Tasks 1, 2 and 3; you must discuss how online presence could impact an individual or an organisation’s strategic marketing performance.
