Assessment Information – What you need to do

This assignment requires students to deliver a 10-minute individual presentation in class. You are expected to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the research topic, purpose of the research and methodological approach.

Assessment Details – What you need to show

This assessment will evaluate 1) your awareness of different methodological approaches and develop skills in the collection of data, and 2) how your subject-specific knowledge is informed by theoretical perspectives. To measure the learning outcomes, the following marking criteria
will be used:

Content (70%):
 Introduction – research topic, background information, context and research objectives,
 Literature review – available literature and literature gap,
 Research methodology – reasoning, sample size, data collection and data analysis,
 Action plan – activities and timeline.

Delivery (20%)
 Argument,
 Confidence in presentation,
 Audience engagement,
 Answering questions.

Organisation (10%)
 Logical flow,
 Slide quality,
 In-text citation,
 End-text citation.
