Architectural Design Studio 3 develops your understanding of the architectural design process through a residential project of moderate programmatic, spatial, material and environmental complexity and its integration with the urban context. You will investigate design strategies for thermal comfort and low-carbon living through an interpretive analysis of project site conditions, local climate and architectural precedents. You will learn how to articulate your ideas with a clear conceptual, schematic and developed design proposal.

Grading will be done against assessment criteria, accompanied by written feedback. Verbal feedback will also be given in the studio.
