ARCH1004 ASSESSMENT 01 

1 DESIGN a Single Storey 3br Residence suitable for Western Suburbs Sydney 
2 SUSTAINABILITY Principles must be incorporated throughout your Design 
3 SITE PLAN select a site – not given – design to that site. 
4 AREAS should be In keeping with current market expectations western suburbs (approx. 200m2) 
5 SUBMISSION thru Turnitin   (electronic scan only of your A3 sheet sizes) 
6 SHEET ONE – Floor Plan and incorporating Site Boundaries and Landscaping 
7 SHEET TWO – Only Two Elevations (say one long and one short elevation) 8 FLOOR PLAN – make 1:100 scale showing all internal furniture 
9 ELEVATIONS – indicate true heights and indicate external materials and openings 
10 INTERNAL CIRCULATION – minimise “wasted areas” 
11 Use A3 sheets in landscape orientation 
12 Use paper and pencil, add room names & room sizes (eg 3x4m), notes, wall thicknesses, furniture, fixture and fittings, finalise with Artline pen 
13 Refer to PODs and tutorial lessons for how to prepare and present your submission.
