AD570 LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of the module you will:

LO1. Have developed your ability to make a conceptual and critical approach to architectural design that integrates and satisfies the aesthetic aspects of a building, its technical requirements, a building and the needs of the user. (Developing RIBA GC1.3)

LO2. Have developed your knowledge of the creative application of work from the fine arts to studio design projects, in terms of their conceptualisation and representation. (Developing RIBA GC3.3).

LO3. Be able to explore and present design ideas through an expanded range of media and techniques including drawn plans and sections.

LO4. Be able to create a schematic BIM 3D model via the use of appropriate CAD software.

LO5. Have developed necessary design skills to meet building users’ requirements within the constraints imposed by the Building Regulations for England & Wales (developing RIBA GC10).
