ABKN346 - Managing Cash and Financial Analysis Assessment

Read through the requirements below, complete all parts of the assessment and then save your work as either an Excel document or a PDF file. Once you have saved your work click on the Assessment Submissionlink within this course and upload your completed assessment to your tutor for marking. 

You must download and open the spreadsheet: Managing Cash and Financial Analysis Template from within this course and use this template to complete the tasks outlined below. There are three parts to this assessment and you must complete all parts before submitting your assessment for marking. 

Part 1 -Statement of Cash Flows 

Garden's Galore is the gardening business of a sole trader. The Trial Balance has been finalized and the Income Statement and Balance Sheet have already been prepared. 

Required: 

1.Prepare a Statement of Cash Flows for Garden's Galore. Please use the workings section to the right to record the different components for each line in the Operating Activities section. 
2.Ensure you have items correctly classified, with the correct sign, and correct addition.
3.Save your spreadsheet. 

Part 2 -Tracking Cash

Pamper and Preen is the business that was used in the tracking cash example in the course work. This business is also used for this assessment. The current day is 16thJune with the actuals for the 15thof June already updated.

Required: 

1.Read the information about the business and the reforecasting notes.
2.Reforecast the daily cash flow through to the end of September, including any adjustments required to existing forecast amounts. 
3.Do not forecast transfers between accounts.
4.Save your spreadsheet. 

Part 3 -Financial Analysis Online

Company provides online goods and services. Three years of financial information have been provided for analysis.

Required: 

1.Read the Income Statement and Balance Sheet. 
2.Calculate the financial ratios and percentages. 
3.Write 5 comments about your ratios and percentages analysis.
