Coursework 1: 500-word Essay on Policy Analysis.

The number of people diagnosed as diabetic is increasing locally, nationally, and globally. In your future role, as a healthcare manager, you are required to critically analyse one key policy that has been implemented to reduce diabetes. Critically discuss its policy drivers, economics, and effectiveness in the academic literature.

You must choose and analyse one government policy that has been implemented to reduce diabetes in any country of your choice.

This coursework must be answered in two parts:

Part A (250 words)

Critically analyse two main policy drivers or factors associated with the development and implementation of the chosen policy to help reduce diabetes.

Part B (250 words)

Critically analyse the impact of this policy on improvements in health outcomes through the application of an “economic evaluation” approach.

Please note: You do not need an introduction and conclusion within your essay, as this coursework (CW1) must be answered in two parts (Part A and Part B, respectively).

A final list of references in the Coventry University APA 7th edition must be included.
