1. Determine the innovation typologies implemented in the company. Identify the typologies and provide examples, e.g., product innovation, developing a new product/service. Then, align with relevant creativity and innovation theories, e.g., incremental innovation and radical innovation, to justify your decision. Apply the BMC model clearly stating the pillars most impacted by the innovations, e.g. A new product may require working with a key partner, or the company may be targeting a new market. (30 marks)
2. Clearly state and then critique the leadership styles of the CEO and CIO, justifying your arguments. Discuss how these specific leadership styles have influenced the company's culture and may continue to shape it in the future. (30 marks)
3. Propose an adapted/new design and structure of the organisation, which fosters agility and learning, enabling the company to develop a sustainable strategy for continued growth and development. Given the intensity of the competitive rivalry in global markets, how may the current organisation’s structure change – does it need to change its types of structure, or add/ remove departments/functions or lines of accountability, etc. (30 marks)
- Referencing - the accuracy, extent, currency, presentation and quality of references will account for 10% of the marks. At least 30 references across different sources are expected. The currency and triangulation of references (cross-referencing information to add further justification of points) are critical.

|
Importance of Word Count
|
Assignment word counts should always be observed. Ignoring a word count significantly increases the risk of your work losing marks because it will likely lack focus and clarity, and/or you would have gained an unfair advantage over others who have completed their work within the word count.
Students will be required to state their word count on all submissions. A 10% leeway will be allowed – so the maximum a student should submit will be the word count + 10%. The word count will exclude:
o The title page
o The contents page
o Models, graphs, calculations, data tables, and other exhibited figures or images
o Lists of references
o Appendices (these should be kept to a minimum)
