d. Average - 2: Average organisation. There is a moderate attempt to present the observation results clearly, effectively and logically.

A tragic and disastrous flood has struck Kuching for several days in early February 2025 which resulting in many houses being destroyed, and some of the dwellers have now become homeless. The Minister of Work has taken this issue seriously and is looking for immediate remedial action to solve the problem. The minister has instructed the Public Works Department (PWD) to manage the construction of new shelters for the homeless as soon as possible and expects the houses to be ready for occupation as early as June 2025.

As the appointed team from the Public Works Department of Sarawak for this project (not more than 5 members per group), you are required to propose and justify to the minister on:

THE Kuching City Mass Rapid Transit (KCMRT) project involves the construction of a rail-based public transport network which forms the backbone of Kuching City. The project was approved by the Government in December 2024. The owner behind the project is an organisation called Kuhing City MASS Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (KCMRT Corp). KCMRT Corp is fully owned by the Sarawak Government and was set up to be the developer and asset owner of the Mass Rapid Transit project. The company was established in September 2024. KCMRT Corp's responsibilities include monitoring and tracking of construction of all elevated structures, stations and depots of the MRT project. It also monitors underground works, including the tunnelling and construction of underground stations mentioned previously.
