Objective
The objective of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to apply research methodology concepts to the design of a research proposal that addresses a relevant research problem in your field of study.
Tasks
1. Research Problem Identification
- Choose a research topic within your field of study that interests you and is relevant to current developments in the field.
- Clearly define research problems or research questions that your proposed study will address.
2. Literature Review
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review related to your research topic.
- Summarize key findings from the literature and identify gaps or areas for further investigation that your research will address.
3. Research Objectives and Hypotheses
- Develop clear and specific research objectives that align with the research problem and literature review.
- Formulate research hypotheses and research questions that will guide your study.
4. Research Methodology
- Select an appropriate research methodology (for example, quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods) based on your research objectives and
hypotheses.
- Justify your choice of methodology, explaining how it aligns with your research problem and will allow you to address your research objectives
effectively.
5. Data Collection and Analysis
- Describe the methods you will use to collect data for your study (for example, surveys, interviews and experiments).
- Outline your data analysis plan, including the techniques you will use to analyze your data and how they will help you test your hypotheses or answer your research questions.
6. Expected Results and Contributions
- Discuss the expected results of your study and how they will contribute to the existing body of knowledge in your field.
- Highlight the potential implications of your findings for theory, practice or policy.

- Summarize the key components of your research proposal.
