Item 1: Objectives of This Assignment

A review article is an article that summarizes the current state of understanding of a topic. The purpose of this task is as follows:

1. To help you understand how research is conducted and reported in the area of organizational development and change management.

2. To get you thinking critically about the literature that you read. You will be analyzing its strengths and weaknesses, its source credibility, and its relevance to the topic or issues it tries to shed light on.

3. To practice applying your analytical and writing skills.

Item 2: Learning Outcomes to be Achieved

LO1: Describe the field of study in OD and its processes.

LO4: Suggest application of OD concepts and their applications in diverse backgrounds.

Item 3: Guidelines 

1. Students are required to do this task based on the instruction given below (refer to ITEM 4).

2. This task is group work. This assignment is worth 40% of your final grade

3. This task is required to be formatted as follows:
a. The content of the review must be typed using Times New Roman, font size 12, and 1.5 spacing.
b. Each heading must be indicated in bold, Times New Roman, font size 12.
c. Insert the page number at the bottom right of each page.
d. The format of the front cover refers to ITEM 6.
e. Other requirements and date of submission refer to ITEM 8.

4. Examine 3 articles. Start with a fresh page for a new article.

5. Your report should be 10-15 pages. (Add another TWO (2) pages for lesson learned, i.e. what have you learned from this assignment?)

7. There will be no extensions unless there are extraordinary and documented circumstances; thus, please manage your time carefully.

8. You are advised to read and take notes on the article at least a week before the assignment is due, write a point-form outline for your review at least 4-5 days before the assignment is due, and have a complete draft to edit/proofread at least a day before the assignment is due.

9. The grade of this article review is based on the given rubric.
