- Select a culture you wish to research.
- Research this culture using research reports in textbooks, academic journals, published ethnographies, interviews, or other published materials.
- There should be a minimum of 20 sources from which you get ideas and information to support your ideas and arguments. Five (5) of these sources should be from academic journals. Each of these sources must be cited in the text and listed in the references list at the end of the essay.
- You are required to write your answers in an essay format. Select any three of the following six questions to be included in your essay.
- Please include a brief introduction and conclusion on the selected culture in your essay
- Each question should discuss NOT MORE THAN 4 (FOUR) sub-points
- Your essay/paper should be double-spaced, font – Times New Roman/ARIAL, size – 12 points. APA Referencing.

Students are required to work in groups. This assignment requires you to watch a film dealing with intercultural communication and write a critical review of the film. The goal of the film review is for you to apply your understanding ofintercultural communication to cultural interactions reflected in films. As you watch the film, you should be reflecting onthe ideas that we discussed in lectures and tutorials.

The film review requires 6 component as below:
- INTRODUCTION
- SUMMARY - summaries of stories covered in the filmc.
- ARGUMENTS (MINIMUM 5) - Arguments about the aspect(s) of the film as they relate to intercultural communication. For example, if you believe that the film's story shows how prejudices are formed and howcategorical thinking and fear of difference impact intercultural communication, then your thesis would state this. Your review paper would explain the relationships you see between prejudice and intercultural communication. You should be able to use some examples from the film to support your thesis and specific arguments.
- THEORY - providing critical, thoughtful insights into intercultural communication theories and their applicationin the movies.
- REVIEW - the review should also be well organized and written.
- CONCLUSION
