E-Portfolio assessment

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and entrepreneurial thinking are key to becoming future-literate and adaptable in the modern world of work. E-portfolios provide evidence of the work done to support this aim throughout the module and beyond. This assessment aims to encourage you to become an independent learner by enhancing personal, professional, and academic skills, demonstrated through a collection of artefacts and reflective content. 

• Building an e-portfolio promotes personalised learning by allowing you to showcase your learning journey using various types of content, such as written work, photographs, videos, and audio recordings.
• Through continually adding to, and updating the content of your e-portfolio, you will demonstrate personal, professional, and academic growth and development. Not only will you record academic progress but will also demonstrate self-awareness through critical reflection.
• By reflecting on your learning and explaining your thought processes, along with the decisions and challenges encountered throughout your learning journey, you will develop a deeper understanding of learning, with the aim of learning howto learn.
• As an online portfolio, you could add technical competence to your skill set.
• Your e-portfolio can also be used to showcase your academic accomplishments to prospective employers after graduation. This visual representation of your academic journey may set you apart in the job market.
