You has been asked to evaluate Tesla, Inc. as a potential investment option for your client. Your client was particularly interested in investing in high technology industry. He is unsure about this investment as he has heard about the stiff competition, redundancies, and COVID 19 pandemic that have impacted on the business performance for the last three years. He is seeking assistance from your group to evaluate Tesla’s financial and non-financial performance to decide on the viability of this investment of $1 million.

Your senior manager has approached your group to provide a report regarding Tesla that contains both financial and non- financial information. The purpose of this report is to assist the client in making an investment decision of $1million in Tesla. In particular, the manager has emphasized on the following information for your report:

A brief overview of the business;
Some historical highlights, both good and bad;
Financial performance over the last three years (2018,2019,2020) and including comments regarding their profitability, liquidity and long term solvency;
Other important financial information including share prices, dividends and other relevant information;
Important non-financial information (where applicable): e.g. management and operational, corporate governance, social responsibility, international and domestic competition, and risk assessment.
Highlight the impact of COVID 19 Pandemic on the company.
Your evaluation and final recommendation to the client to invest or not to invest in Tesla with justification.

Support your evaluation and discussion with relevant examples and appropriate secondary information from your own research where appropriate. You are required to use your own words and avoid ‘cut and paste’ in your writing.

This assignment must be a Word document, single-sided with 1.5 line-spaced using 12 font Arial/Times. Leave at least 2.6cm margins.
This assessment use APA 7th Edition. This applies to both in-text references and the full reference list. You are required to provide at least five references from 3 professional reports and articles published in leading journals and media within the last five years. Use of Wikipedia and unverified sources are not acceptable. References and quotations taken from other authors must be properly acknowledged at all times using APA referencing.
