You are required to prepare a PowerPoint presentation of a plan for a health promotion intervention. You cannot reproduce an existing intervention and present it here as your own. The plan for the health promotion intervention should include the following:

• What the proposed intervention is
• context of and rationale for the intervention
• critical discussion of the underpinning approach
• an implementation plan including a timeframe

You are not required to present in person, but should provide a commentary of up to 1000 words maximum, indicating what you would have said were you presenting the work. The words on the slide content and also in the references do not count towards the 1000 words, only the words in the commentary underneath the slides.

Your slides should cover the following aspects, and you must not exceed the specified number of 11 slides. Here is a suggestion of a template for the content for these slides below. The slide does not have to be in this order 

• Slide 1: title slide stating name, student number, module title and title of intervention
• Slide 2: Introduction to the presentation – contents/overview of structure
• Slide 3: aim and objectives
• Slide 4: context [location and policy]
• Slide 5: evidence of need and demand for the intervention
• Slides 6 & 7: underpinning approach, principles & values
• Slide 8 explains exactly what the health promotion intervention is; this needs to be clear
• Slide 9: an implementation plan within a clear timeframe for delivery, and identifying stakeholder involvement 
• Slides 10 & 11: critical reflection/evaluation, e.g. challenges, strengths, limitations, sustainability
• full bibliographic details of all sources used. You may use as many slides as you wish for this.

You can write up to 1000 words IN TOTAL in the notes underneath/at the bottom of the slide. The reference list does not count in your number of words.

To avoid illegible slides, your font size should be no smaller than 18 point.
