This project requires the learner to reflect on the needs of people with disabilities regarding 3 specific conditions. You should identify the causes and effects of people with the chosen conditions and outline the difficulties such people face in mainstream society. Assistive technology and aids that can be used to improve the quality of life for people diagnosed with these 3 conditions should be noted. Additionally, you should review Irish public policy and legislation in relation to the inclusion of people with disabilities in Irish society. Finally, you should critically reflect on your attitude toward people with disabilities in Irish society and propose how you can improve upon your existing skill set.
