This is an individual time-constrained test (60 minutes). This assessment will be sat on 22nd October 2025 ,Wednesday( 3pm-4pm )

Students will be introduced to datasets which include real economics and financial data from the current economic and finance context, allowing students to develop and demonstrate their critical thinking, problem-solving solving and analytical skills in analysing and making decisions on real-life situations/applications.
Your assignment will be marked by the module team.
Provisional marks will be released once internally moderated.

Your provisional marks and feedback should be available within 3 weeks (15 working days).
The questions will be weighted differently depending on their level of difficulty. You will have to answer all the questions appropriate to the marking allocation. The total marks for the assessment will be out of 100 marks.
All work submitted after the submission deadline without a valid and approved reason (see below) will be given a mark of zero.

1. Evaluate and utilise econometric techniques - both when the Classical Linear Regression Model assumptions are satisfied and when they are not.
2. Apply appropriate econometric techniques to address problems in economics and finance and be able to develop parsimonious models using a systematic modelling strategy.
3. Analyse different types of data using statistical/econometric software.
